2nd Amendment to DCCRs Ballot Open

We would like to inform you that The Board of Directors for Lakeside at Heath Homeowners Association have the desire and intent to propose a rental restriction in the community of five percent (5%).

This decision was made with the goal to preserve the quality of life of Owners, to preserve the community as one that is predominately owner-occupied, and to promote the leasing of a property by responsible individuals. A property may be leased for residential purposes if no more than five percent (5%) of the total Residences located in the community are leased at any point in time, except in cases of hardship as approved by the Board. The Board understands that consideration for those Owners already having their homes leased will be required and provisions for this will be addressed as part of the amendment should the ballot to amend pass.

We are pleased to announce the voting on the proposed Second Amendment to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (the “DCCR’s”) for Lakeside at Heath Homeowners Association, Inc. opens on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and concludes on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. The Ballot contains information on the Article and Section for amendment. A full copy of the proposed Second Amendment to the DCCR’s is included here. You can also visit your Association’s website at www.lakesideatheathhoa.com.

There are three (3) ways to vote:

Online Voting from the Association’s website at www.lakesideatheathhoa.com. You must be the Owner of record and registered on the Association’s website in order to vote online.

If you will be unable to vote for any reason, please consider assigning your voting rights to a neighbor of your choice or to the Board of Directors. Your Proxy Holder must submit the Proxy and Ballot together in order for it to be counted. All documentation for voting or assigning your vote will be posted on the Association’s website. After Balloting closes, information on the upcoming Special Meeting of the Members tentatively set for Thursday, November 2, 2023, will be sent by electronic communication to all registered Owners and posted to the Association’s website.
